SUMMIT EVERY HIGH POINT
IN CONTINETAL EUROPE
IN ONE ATTEMPT
CURRENt RECORD
173D 20H 45M
set by aDAM STEVENSON IN 2019
In 2027, we’re setting out to reach the highest point of every country in geographical Europe, travelling primarily from one van and attempting to beat the published Guinness World Record.
From roadside high points to technical alpine summits, every country, every border crossing and every mountain sits against the same clock.

THE RECORD
173 DAYS.
20 HOURS.
45 MINUTES.
That’s the published Guinness World Record we’re setting out to beat.
Our working target is 160 days.
Less than five months to travel across Europe, reach every required high point and document the entire attempt.
But the clock isn’t only running while we’re climbing. It’s running while we’re driving between countries. At borders. On ferries. While we’re sleeping. During bad weather. While we’re recovering. If the van breaks down. If a mountain isn’t safe to climb.
THE CLOCK DOESN’T CARE WHY WE’VE STOPPED.

THE ROUTE
THE ROUTE THE MOUNTAINS ALLOW
Reaching every country isn’t simply a case of drawing the shortest line through Europe.
Its a logistical nighmare.
The route has to work around mountain seasons, weather windows, technical objectives, ferries, borders and recovery.
Lower and more accessible high points can be moved around.
The biggest mountains can’t.

THE MOUNTAINS ARE THE VEHICLE
NOT THE MESSAGE
Climbing mountains won’t solve addiction.
We know that.
The challenge is what gets people looking. What we do with that attention is what matters.
Over 160 days, we’ll have dozens of high points, thousands of kilometres and an entire journey across Europe through which to talk openly about addiction, the people living with it and the families living around it.
The mountains give us a platform.

BASE CAMP
For most of the attempt, one long-wheelbase van will carry almost everything we need to travel, live, climb, film and document the expedition.
For five months, it won’t just be transport.
It’ll be home.
